Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Spiritual Growth
Emotional Freedom Techniques (aka “tapping”) is an astoundingly fast and easy processes that can help just about anyone to achieve genuine freedom from pains, traumas and other issues that have created problems in their lives. These techniques have been used successfully with thousands of people with a broad range of difficulties. EFT often works in minutes, its results are usually long lasting, and side effects are almost always positive.

A great scientific explanation of why it works is here:

Essentially, the effectiveness of EFT relates to the human energy system. In addition to being fueled by food, our bodies also run on an intricate energy system which is fueled by electrical impulses. When this electrical system is out of balance, our emotional life could be compared to a car engine that is out of tune and running poorly. The result may take the form of any type of emotional disturbance including phobias, anger, depression, grief, guilt, anxiety, and a full range of fears, to name a few. There may also be physical symptoms like pain, headaches, asthma and tension that are related to the emotions. EFT provides balance to the energy system and relief from the majority of these disturbances.
Some of issues that have been successfully cleared using the EFT include:
EFT and Spiritual Growth
I believe there are two aspects we need to consider—the physicality of our humanity and the equally “real” but more difficult to define spirituality of being human. While we continually experience the world with our physical senses, there is this invisible aspect that animates our physical bodies, but just what this invisible aspect is remains a mystery. While religious leaders throughout history have delved into deep discussions about this, no single idea of what this is has satisfied everyone. It is a very personal experience which the analytical mind has difficulty understanding. Every person's spiritual path is unique to them and EFT works well for people in all religious traditions.
EFT is a tool that addresses the invisible aspects of our nature. This includes emotions, mind and spirit. EFT works on the emotions and mind to remove impediments that keep us from the fuller realization of our true self. The story is told of the famed renaissance era artist, Michelangelo, who would see the sculpture that was imprisoned inside a block of marble and proceed to simply remove all of the marble that was not the sculpture. In a similar way, EFT removes what is not our true spiritual self (negative beliefs, fears, and so on) leaving us more healthy and whole. When the invisible impediments in emotions and mind are removed we experience improvements in beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. These changes can lead to improvements in our bodies and in the larger physical world because it is the invisible world that gives life to the visible world. Flow in the invisible world is reflected in the physical world as improved health, wealth and relationships.
The degree of improvement can vary. Sometimes EFT produces results that appear miraculous because they are so fast, and sometimes the changes are subtle but grow over time with continued application. Sessions can be done in person or via Skype or phone. Again, some people respond quicker than others, but for planning purposes, expect to schedule 3 ea. 1 hour sessions over the course of a month.
