What I Can Do For Groups Like Yours
I was recently reading about a survey where the percentage of U.S. congregations reporting high spiritual vitality declined from 43 percent in 2005 to 28 percent in 2010. The largest decline was registered by white mainline Protestant denominations. The reasons given for this phenomenon include depletion of energy and morale due to the recession; aging membership; and an emphasis on social service programs over ones promoting spiritual growth. Another report by the Hartford Institute for Religious Research reveals that people now have "less time" for church and that their faith has "gotten weaker."
As someone who has "been there, done that" I don't think it necessarily needs to be that way for your congregation. I have a number of powerful workshops that can help to transform your group right now.
